A bit about Melissa Robertson
Melissa did her first obstacle race in 2011 when she tagged along with her local boot camp to Tough Bloke. Since then, Melissa has taken on many other obstacles races – placing 1st or 2nd in all Australian Spartan Races that she has competed in.
In 2013, Melissa represented Australia at the Spartan World Championships held in Killington, Vermont. This was a tough 21km race over rough terrain against the best obstacle racers in the world. Melissa completed the course coming in 15th place. She then 2nd in the 2013 Australian Obstacle Course Racing League.
In 2015, Melissa placed 7th in the Buffalo Stampede Ultra Skymarathon, 75km of mountains and a an international field of racers. On the way home from Mt Buffalo she stopped off in the Blue Mountains and raced the Mt Solitary Ultra 45km, placing 3rd. Melissa also competed in her second ever 100km race, The North Face 100 and managed to come 4th.

Central Coast 10km Championships 10k – 40:46 (1st)
Mingara Relay For life Midnight 5k – 20:21 (1st female, 3rd overall)
Carcoar Cup Ultramarathon 60k – 5:04:56 (1st female, 5th overall)
Wyong Triathlon Festival – Try A Tri (Enticer) – 31:21 (1st overall)
Stromlo Running Festival 50k – 4:28:37 (2nd)
Personally I like the Coconut & Macadamia and Superberry balls the best, I’ll have either the Rich Cacao or Vanilla protein shakes after training (or racing) to help me refuel. – Melissa Robertson
