A bit about Madeline Heiner
Madeline made a return to competitive running in 2014 following an 8 year absence from the sport. Within 3 months of first stepping back onto the track, she qualified for the Australian Commonwealth Games team in the 3000m steeplechase and 5000m. She would go on to produce a personal best in Glasgow in July, finishing 4th. In 2014 she claimed the Oceania 10km road title and a silver medal in the Australian 10,000m track championships on debut, finishing the year within the world’s top 30. She holds the current world lead/fastest time in the steeplechase (achieving a new personal best – running 3 seconds quicker than in the Commonwealth Games) and recently won the Australian 5000m championships. Madeline is now heading to the USA and Europe to get some racing experience, she has her eyes firmly on the 2015 IAAF World Championships in Beijing (where she recently received an early selection for the Australian team) and on the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Running 90km, working as a pharmacist 40hrs a week and studying a masters at university means I need energy and nutrients quickly to ensure adequate recovery and optimal performance in each of my daily processes. Bounce allows me to do this. – Madeline Heiner
